New plant for sealing business in Denmark
Swedish industrial group Trelleborg (Trelleborg; www.trelleborg.com) is investing in a new production facility for its Sealing Solutions business in Denmark. The facility is being built close to the company's existing plant in Helsingør / Denmark, where along with the capacity expansion, there will be a greater use of automated production processes.
Trelleborg will invest approximately SEK 120m (EUR 12.5m) from 2017 to 2020, with the plant scheduled to start operating in 2020. The automotive, aviation and renewable energy industries are the target markets for the company's sealing products.
