The second industrial trade fair for the chemical and plastics industries “ChemPlast Expo” (www.chemplastexpo.com) is set to take place from 7-9 May 2019 in Madrid / Spain. The event is organised by Nebext (Madrid; www.nebext.com) with the support of more than 60 institutions, administrations and associations of the sectors. Over 200 exhibitors are expected to present solutions and innovations for the food, packaging, cosmetics, pharma, electronics and automotive industries, among others.
In addition, over 180 scientists, researchers and industry experts are expected to speak at the “Congress of Applied Chemistry and Industry 4.0” and the “European Congress of Plastic Engineering” running in parallel to ChemPlastExpo 2019. The conference programmes will include topics such as Industry 4.0, the “internet of things” (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), industrial cyber security and blockchain as well as innovations in plastic materials, recycling, sustainability and circular economy, industrial-technological advances and industry regulations.
In the spirit of establishing the trade fair as “the meeting point for the exchange of knowledge of two growing sectors,” ChemPlastExpo director Leo Berndt invites experts in plastics engineering and chemistry to present their knowledge and innovations at the congresses. Proposals can be submitted here by 1 March 2019.
