TOTALENERGIES
Development of packaging from RE:clic range
French petrochemical giant TotalEnergies (Paris; www.totalenergies.com) recently announced the development of packaging material from its RE:clic portfolio of low-carbon circular polymers. Launched in October 2022, the portfolio features polymers based on recycled material and bio-feedstocks.

The heavy-use packaging material is composed of a core layer of rPE2206 LDPE grade – made from 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content – and virgin grades of Lumicene and Supertough metallocene polyethylene resins.

The overall package incorporates 50% PCR materials, according to the company. The packaging material is being used for TotalEnergies’ Premium Wood Pellets product.
