Ter Plastics’ roughly 200 employees generated a turnover of approximately EUR 180m in 2016. According to CEO Wolfgang Siegel, who aims to make the company the fifth largest plastic distributor in Europe, revenue in the last six years grew by an average of 12% per year.
Ter Plastics is part of the Ter Group, which also includes distribution company Ter Chemicals (Hamburg / Germany; www.terchemicals.com) and, as of late, wax producer Paramelt (Heerhugowaar / The Netherlands; www.paramelt.com). The annual turnover of the entire group, led by managing director Christian Westphal, is around EUR 700m.
