Following its decision in May to separate its closure liner and films activities into two different business units (see Plasteurope.com of 23.05.2016), Tekni-Plex (Wayne, Pennsylvania / USA; www.tekni-plex.com) has announced the new heads for each unit. David Andrulonis, formerly in charge of both the company’s US closure liners and films business, now serves as general manager of the “Tri-Seal” closure liners unit. Meanwhile, the company’s US Tekni Films business has been entrusted to Kirk Rumsey, former vice president of global procurement.

Commenting on the appointments, Tekni-Plex CEO Paul Young said, “Putting these two seasoned packaging executives at the helm of each unit will enable us to accelerate our focus on customer needs, product development and manufacturing improvements.”
