Biesterfeld Turkey appointed distributor for polymer stabilisers
South Korea-based petrochemicals group Songwon (Ulsan; www.songwonind.com) has named Biesterfeld Turkey (www.biesterfeld.com) as exclusive distributor for its comprehensive range of stabilisers for PVC and other polymers. Products include stabilisers and OPS blends sold under the “Songnox” brand name, “Songsorb” light stabilisers, “Songxtend” stabiliser solutions and “Songstab” acid scavengers as well as “Kumanox” antioxidants.

Over the past several years, the plastics industry in Turkey has shown “great potential for growth,” Songwon said, noting that the country now ranks behind Germany as the second-largest plastics processing country in Europe. Biesterfeld Turkey supplies more than 2,000 customers in industries such as automotive, appliances, packaging and coatings.
