Purchase of US specialty films producer Ajedium
Solvay Solexis (www.solvaysolexis.com), a subsidiary of Solvay (Brussels / Belgium; www.solvay.com), is acquiring Ajedium Film (Newark, Delaware / USA; www.ajedium.com). Ajedium manufactures high performance films and thin-gauge extruded sheet products, and has developed a range of technologies. Pierre Joris, Solvay Solexis’ CEO, said the acquisition “will help to further adjust our resins and compounds for high quality films."
