German plastics institute SKZ (Würzburg; www.skz.de) has launched a catalogue with English training courses for plastics production and material science. SKZ has been offering courses to industry players in German for over 50 years and is now catering to the growing demand for training courses in English for its international clients.

The catalogue includes courses on the basics of plastics materials and technology, compounding, extrusion, adhesive bonding, injection moulding, composite technology and welding. The duration of the courses varies from two to ten days, depending on the subject, the details of which can be found on the institute’s website.
