SIMONA
Indian subsidiary established / Boosting presence in various regional market segments
In response to market growth, Simona (Kirn / Germany; www.simona.de) has established a new subsidiary in India. Simona India’s headquarters are based in Mumbai, with regional offices in Ahmedabad, New Delhi and Chennai. The company will focus on providing semi-finished parts as well as pipes and fittings for various applications, both in India and the surrounding region.

Simona said the move allows it to further strengthen its existing presence in the Indian subcontinent in a variety of market sectors, including chemicals, electronics, automotive, healthcare, water supply and waste-water disposal.

It added that warehousing space in the transport and logistics hub of Bhiwandi has also been expanded to cater for customers' increasing demands in terms of availability, dispatch and service.
