Toy producer opens new UK office
Toy producer Simba Dickie (Fürth / Germany, www.simbatoys.com) will soon open a new UK subsidiary, which will sell all existing Simba and Dickie products as well as the product-range acquired by the March 2009 purchase of the French company Smoby. The new sales outlet will be based in Bradford and headed by Tony Belford, who has for many years been instrumental in Simba Dickie’s UK operations.
The new company will be called Simba Smoby Toys UK Ltd. Commenting on the launch, Belford said he was “looking forward expanding the Simba, Dickie and Smoby business further and establishing it as a major brand within the UK.”
