Central Customer Systems Center opens / Packaging machines for EMEA and overseas

Sealed Air GmbH (Root / Switzerland; www.sealedair-emea.com), part of the international packaging group Sealed Air (Saddle Brook, New Jersey / USA; www.sealedair.com), has officially dedicated the new Customer Systems Center (CSC) of its Cryovac Europe division. In April 2006, the customer centre moved from Kriens / Switzerland to the food packaging manufacturer´s European headquarters.
The CSC occupies an area of 7,000 m², including offices and workshops, and employs nearly 100 people. From there packaging machines and systems are developed, designed and assembled, primarily for the EMEA region, but also for some customers overseas. In addition, Cryovac sales and technical organisation for the Swiss food packaging market are controlled from Root. Managing Director is Jean Sornay.
