Acquisition of Michigan-based medical devices producer
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (Aurora, Ohio / USA; www.plastics.saint-gobain.com) has extended its capabilities as a full service provider for the biopharmaceutical industry through the acquisition of Twin Bay Medical (South Williamsburg, Michigan / USA; http://twinbaymedical.com). Twin Bay manufactures “BarbLock” flexible tube retainers and single-use components for biopharmaceuticals manufacturing. The deal, financial details fo which were not disclosed, includes the company’s production facility in Williamsburg, its development organisation and all employees.
