Reinforcing fibres now marketed under “Adfors” brand name
Construction giant Saint-Gobain (Courbevoie / France; www.saint-gobain.com) has announced that its business unit dealing with technical reinforcing fibres and glass fibres, formerly known as Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics, will change its name to Saint-Gobain Adfors (Chambéry Cedex / France; www.sgtf.com). The new unit, whose name is based on the words “add” and “force”, encompasses Vetrotex (glass fibres for composites), Adfors Industrial Fabrics and Adfors Construction Products.
