French distributor opens subsidiary in Greece

Speciality chemicals distributor Safic-Alcan (Paris / France; www.safic-alcan.com) has formed a new subsidiary named Safic-Alcan Hellas for the Greek market. The new office is based in Athens and managing warehousing locally.
Its first employee is Yannis Antonopoulos. He is responsible for sales and development and, as general manager, is initially in charge of performance products including thermoplastics, polyurethanes, coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants and rubber.
