New production building in Germany / Capacity expansion for medical packaging

CEO of the Röchling Group (Mannheim / Germany; www.roechling.de), Hanns-Peter Knaebel, has opened the company's new production building at its site in Neuhaus / Germany (see Plasteurope.com of 11.07.2016), which is home to its medical division, Röchling Medical Neuhaus. The expansion strengthens the producer's market position of primary packaging for the pharmaceutical and diagnostic industry, says the company. The new building houses facilities for the cleanroom production for class GMP C (approximately 1,100 m²) and class GMP D (approximately 500 m²). Röchling is investing around EUR 35m at the Neuhaus site, and some 70 jobs will be created.
