Come 1 March, plastics injection moulder Rosti (Malmö / Sweden; www.rosti.com) will have a new CEO. The company’s board has appointed Brendan Colgan to the position. He will replace Börje Vernet, who led the group since 2007, and will become CEO of another Nordstjernan (Stockholm / Sweden; www.nordstjernan.se) portfolio company, Dacke Industri.
Commenting on his nomination, Colgan – who most recently worked as managing director of IMI’s Precision Engineering division – said, “I look forward to leading the company towards its vision to double the turnover to 2019 – from the current EUR 500m to EUR 1 bn – both organically and through acquisitions.”
Rosti has 12 manufacturing facilities in Europe and Asia, home to about 4,000 employees. With sales in the range of EUR 500m, the company has been steadily growing its footprint, including by means of the purchase of Polish injection moulder Bianor last year (see Plasteurope.com of 28.08.2015).
