Italian masterbatch manufacturer acquires compatriot Teknomast

Masterbatch manufacturer Rifra (Molinetto di Mazzano, Italy; www.rifra.it) completed its acquisition of colour specialist Teknomast (Legnano, Italy; www.teknomast.it) in June 2026. Rifra announced the transaction on the company’s LinkedIn page.

The two masterbatch suppliers have a long-standing partnership. Since Rifra acquired a 50% stake in Teknomast in 2006, the two companies have shared research and development activities. Four years ago, Rifra increased its stake in Teknomast to 60%.
