Distributor Resinex (Arendonk / Belgium; www.resinex.com) has extended its cooperation with LG Chem (Seoul / South Korea; www.lgchem.com) and will, with immediate effect, market various other engineering plastics from the South Korean producer in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. New additions to the portfolio include "Lupox" PBT and PBT blends, which LG Chem produces in Poland and are especially suited to E&E applications because of their low moisture absorption. Also new are "Lumiloy" mPPO blends for applications with water contact and "Keyflex BT" polyester-based thermoplastic elastomers.

The latter are available for both extrusion and injection moulding and are suitable for various fields of application such as E&E, automotive and sports equipment. The Resinex portfolio already contains elastomers and ABS specialities from LG Chem.

It was only at the beginning of September that the distributor Polyma Kunststoff (Reinbek / Germany; www.polyma-kunststoff.de) announced the extension of its business with LG Chem. Since then, Polyma has also been marketing “Lumid” PA from the South Korean company in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The product portfolio of the German distributor has also included, among other things, Lupox PBT (see Plasteurope.com of 13.10.2015).
