Rehau (Rehau / Germany; www.rehau.com) is expanding its production facility for pipe systems for underfloor heating and cooling, drinking water and domestic drainage in Triptis / Germany, including its logistics centre there. The company is investing around EUR 28m in the expansion. A groundbreaking ceremony took place on 24 April 2019. A spokesperson told Plasteurope.com that part of the construction project should be completed by the end of 2019. Work on the entire project is expected to be completed by mid-2021.

In 1992, the company laid the foundation stone for the construction of the facility. Five years later, the logistics centre was built. Rehau currently employs around 250 people at the Triptis site.
