Belgian polyurethane foam producer Recticel (Brussels; www.recticel.com) said it has completed the takeover of FoamPartner from Switzerland’s Conzzeta (Zurich; www.conzzeta.ch), a deal that includes the alpine company’s Otto Bock plastics division (see Plasteurope.com of 16.11.2020).
“Recticel Flexible Foams and FoamPartner will now be merged to form the Recticel Engineered Foams business line,” said Recticel CEO Olivier Chapelle. “The new organisation will leverage numerous synergies in resources and talents.” The Belgian company said FoamPartner will be integrated in its consolidated financial reports as of 1 April 2021.
