RANI PLAST
Finnish films manufacturer expands capacity
Films producer Rani Plast (Teerijärvi / Finland; www.raniplast.com) has installed another blow moulding machine, and increased its manufacturing capacity. The new line can produce a range of different industrial packaging films, said production manager Simon Fagerudd. It is suitable for the production of films required to be tight and stable, for example, beverage packaging or pallet wrappings. In addition, the capacity expansion will enable shorter delivery times.

In addition to industrial films, Rani Plast manufactures agricultural films. Including its 50:50 joint venture Tatrafan (Svit / Slovakia; www.tatrafan.com) with Slovak partner Chemosvit – see Plasteurope.com of 01.11.2017 – the Rani group, managed by UIrika Ahlbäck and Mikael Ahlbäck, has factories in Finland, Sweden, Slovakia, Ukraine and Russia.
