Agreement with Romanian parts producer strengthens activities in south eastern Europe
The components division of injection and rotational moulding specialist Promens (Reykjavik / Iceland; www.promens.com) is increasing its activities in south eastern Europe through a co-operation agreement with Chimica (Orastie / Romania; www.chimica.ro) for the production of injection moulded parts. Chimica is located in Orastie in central Romania and operates 48 modern injection moulding machines with clamping forces ranging from 40 t to 1400 t.

Around 75% of Chimica’s production is destined for the automotive sector, including interior parts such as middle consoles and pillar trims, exterior parts including wheel covers and a variety of black functional under-the-bonnet parts.
