Effective immediately, Polytrade Global (Frankfurt / Germany; www.polytrade.de) has distribution rights for BARS-2’s (St. Petersburg / Russia; www.basco-masterbatch.com) “Basco” line in Western Europe. The agreement also covers the representation of BARS-2 at industry events, starting with a joint stand at the “Compounding World Expo Europe” (www.compoundingworldexpo.com) in Essen / Germany. The trade fair was originally scheduled to take place in June but has been moved to 7-8 October 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Polytrade’s portfolio includes compounds from R&P Polyplastic (Moscow / Russia; www.polyplastic-compounds.ru/eng) – see Plasteurope.com of 08.10.2018 – as well as products from Indochine Bio Plastics (Johor / Malaysia; www.icbp.com.my) and raw materials for the cosmetics industry. The Frankfurt-based company is a distributor of plastics, but also of intermediate products and additives for compounders. It was founded in 1994 as a spin-off of Metallgesellschaft’s fibre and fibre raw materials department and became a subsidiary of Zimmer (Frankfurt). Polytrade Global is now a global marketing and logistics service provider with a technological background.
