Uponor / Hewing take over Cronatherm
At the beginning of 1999, Hewing GmbH (D-48607 Ochtrup), German subsidiary of the Finnish Uponor group (FIN-92110 Espoo), acquired all shares of Cronatherm Heizungselemente GmbH (D-53567 Buchholz-Mendt), manufacturer of under-floor heating systems, as well as the related metal and plastic pipes production of Neuenkirchener Metall- und Kunststoffverarbeitung. The takeover will strengthen Hewing / Uponor´s position in the German heating systems market.
