Organised by Promaplast (Milan; www.plastonline.org), Plast 2026 is expected to focus on processing technologies, machinery, and next-generation materials for plastics and rubber manufacturing.
Despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty and a challenging market environment, the exhibition has attracted strong international participation, with overseas companies accounting for 44% of exhibitors.
Organisers have also highlighted the arrival of 200 new exhibitors compared with the previous two editions, describing it as a strong sign of confidence in the sector and in Plast’s role as a platform for innovation and business development.
The exhibition is to occupy more than 40,000 m² across six halls and once again feature its satellite shows Rubber, 3D Plast, and PlastMat, covering topics ranging from additive manufacturing and advanced materials to rubber processing technologies.

International attendance is also expected to increase significantly, supported by buyer delegations organised in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) among other trade associations.
More than 300 delegate companies are anticipated, including major groups from India and Latin America, emphasising the continued importance of export markets for European plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers.
Plast 2026 takes place against a mixed backdrop for the Italian machinery sector. According to data from industry association Amaplast (Milan; www.amaplast.org), Italian exports of plastics and rubber machinery declined across most global regions in 2025, with Asia/Oceania the only area to record growth, driven largely by China and India.
In this context, the exhibition is expected to provide manufacturers with an important opportunity to strengthen international partnerships and showcase new technologies focused on efficiency and sustainability.
The KI.PIE Group will also be present at Plast and is set to present its recyclate portfolio and the new pricenxt business intelligence platform – come say hello to us!
