It may have taken some time to decide on the final dates (see Plasteurope.com of 18.02.2016), but now that the next “Plast” (www.plastonline.org) has firmly been fixed for the four days lasting from 29 May to 1 June 2018, organiser Promaplast (Milan / Italy; www.promaplast.org) is starting to push the Milan-based fair. Exhibitor registration is now open and companies that apply within the first time frame – which expires on 31 January 2017 – will receive a 20% discount on their participation. If the decision process takes longer, the more hesitant still stand to benefit from 10% discount if they sign up before 30 April next year.

As part of the so-called "Innovation Alliance", the next Plast will bring together a number of different exhibitions: "Ipack-Ima" (www.ipack-ima.com/en), “Meat-Tech” (www.ipack-ima.com/en/pages/meat-tech-2018), “Print4All” and “Intralogistica Italia” (http://intralogistica-italia.com/en). Apart from that, the fair will also feature three satellite shows: “Rubber 2018”, “3D Plast” and “Plast-Mat”.

"Plast 2015" drew 50,087 visitors – slightly less on the previous edition. At 1,584, however, the exhibitor total was 5% higher than during the 2012 fair (for details, see Plasteurope.com of 27.05.2015).
