Belgian hose manufacturer Plastiflex (Paal-Beringen, Belgium; www.plastiflex.com) has commissioned a new production facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. At the site, the company primarily manufactures hoses for industrial applications, including domestic appliances, industrial equipment, and swimming pool technology. Plastiflex said the first batch of finished hoses has already been delivered.

In addition to Johor Bahru, the company operates 11 plants in Germany (Kierspe), the Netherlands (Rotterdam), Spain (Caldes de Montbui), Slovakia (Kezmarok), Slovenia (Kobarit), Turkey (Izmir), the US (Statesville, North Carolina, and Laguna Hills, California), Mexico (Tijuana), and China (Suzhou and Dongguan). It also has sales offices in Belgium, the UK, Spain, the US, Australia, and China.

The company’s headquarters in Paal-Beringen, Belgium, is home to the executive board, operational management, finance, research and development, and product management.
