Traditionally, biscuits have been served on the side with coffee, but now they’re shaping up to be a more integral part of the experience. Cupffee (Plovdiv, Bulgaria) has concocted a crunchy container of the same name that after your last sip you can nibble away rather than throw away.

The edible and biodegradable takeaway cups, available in two sizes, are made from plant-based materials including natural grains and coconut oil. The manufacturer likewise assures that they are resistant to temperatures up to 85°C and leak-proof for hours.

Nevertheless, many coffee connoisseurs are likely to contain their excitement and drink their beloved hot beverage a little faster on their first try, just to be on the safe side.
