Lamborghini: Autobots, roll out!
— By Andru Shively —

Come with me if you want to live (again). Finally, there is a practical solution to all the scrap Lamborghini parts lying about in our garages, going to waste. The Italian sports car manufacturer, together with its global waste management partner Hera, has unveiled six “environment defending super robots” whose reported mission is to “tell a story of innovation, creativity, and responsibility”.

Brought to life with salvaged lambo materials by Hera’s art workshop SCART, the 4-metre-tall robots first touched down on Earth last week in Italy at Lucca Comics & Games 2025 and are currently keeping watch over the Ecomondo green tech expo in Rimini.

Gea Stone and Jotun Forge guard the earth, while Skyrenn and Jetron protect the air; serving as custodians of the water are Marixx and Mega Tide. Just as flashy as the cars that spawned them, they do an even better job at signalling virtue – a quality we expect of Transformers. Just don’t expect these ones to actually save the world.
