PLASTIC FANTASTIC
Back to the future
Marty McFly and “Back to the Future” celebrate an anniversary this year – 35 years ago the film hit the cinemas. On this occasion, Playmobil has a retro toy set, with an exact replica of the legendary “DeLorean” time machine at its core. Featuring important details like an (obviously working) flux compensator, “OUTATIME!” licence plates and gullwing doors, it will surely become a collector’s piece one day. Or will it?

As McFly said so fittingly in the first movie of the trilogy, “I guess you guys aren’t ready for that yet. But your kids are gonna love it!” And for the price of EUR 50 – it’s still quite affordable compared to the Lego DeLorean, which costs around four times as much.
