PLASTIC FANTASTIC
Now for some non-disposable plastics

The popularity of supporting bans on throwaway straws is still soaring, with the EU jumping on the bandwagon too. As a replacement for disposable plastic straws, there is now a convenient collapsible straw to take along to restaurants and cafes – containing plastics.

In its Kickstarter campaign, "FinalStraw" already has more than EUR 1.8m in pledges. The portable and reusable straw is made from a 2 mm-thick type 304 stainless steel and, for 100% leak-proof drinking, lined with TPE tubing. Squeegee cleaning instructions are made easy via YouTube.

To throw into bags, it also comes with its own accessory case made of 100% post-consumer recycled ABS, and is available in four colours. How about Suck-ulent Green, or maybe Shark-butt Grey?
