Since 1972, the Plastics Hall of Fame has recognised individuals who have made outstanding contributions to shaping the global plastics industry. With these new additions, the list of inductees now includes 253 members from nine countries.
The Plastics Academy recently updated its rules and will now induct 15 individuals every 18 months instead of every three years. There are simply too many people who have rendered outstanding service to the plastics sector, explained academy president Maureen Steinwall.
