Under the title Plastics prices and procurement: What’s next?, KI.PIE Group is inviting visitors to a compact market and price update followed by an expert panel discussion on Monday, 12 October, at 15:00–16:20 in the Berlin Room at Conference Centre East at Messe Friedrichshafen. The event is to be held in German and English. Participation is free of charge.
Dimitrios Koranis, managing director of Koranis Purchasing Solutions, is to open the programme with the keynote, Where are plastics prices heading – and which factors will be decisive in 2026 and beyond? In the subsequent expert panel, he is to join Vincent Breit, senior market analyst at KI.PIE Group, to discuss current market developments and procurement strategies in Western Europe. László Bűdy, managing director of myCEPPI (Budapest; www.myceppi.com), is to contribute the perspective of the Central and Eastern European plastics markets. The panel discussion is to be moderated by Somya Abrol, Editor-in-Chief of Plastics Information Europe.
Another highlight will be the live premiere of pricenxt. With this new browser-based analytics platform, KI.PIE Group is developing its established price reporting into a comprehensive tool for procurement, pricing, and management.
pricenxt combines monthly contract prices and weekly spot prices for raw materials and polymers in different regions with interactive dashboards, forecasts, and scenario tools. Users can identify price trends more quickly, compare markets, and analyse the potential impact of different developments on their procurement and pricing decisions.
The functions being presented at Fakuma are only the beginning. Further pricenxt modules are planned for global polymer and monomer capacities, logistics, industry news, and market information, as well as additional AI-powered analytical functions. At the KI.PIE Summit, Fakuma visitors are to see live for the first time how pricenxt turns price data into actionable market intelligence for informed decision-making.
Participation in the KI.PIE Group Summit 2026 is free of charge. Please register here.
