Ineos regroups, renames Innovene units
As expected, the privately held Ineos group (Lyndhurst / UK; www.ineos.com) is reorganising its new acquisition, BP spin-off Innovene (www.innovene.com), and integrating activities into its own organisation. The acquired petrochemical businesses will be split among seven business units. All European and Asian PE and PP activities will be part of Ineos Polyolefins. Cracker operations will be absorbed by Ineos Olefins, and the two European refineries by Ineos Refining. In North America, olefins and polyolefins will be merged into Ineos Olefins & Polymers.
