Tarkett Sommer to acquire rest of Domco Tarkett

Tarkett Sommer AG (www.tarkett-sommer.com), Frankenthal / Germany, has announced its intention to acquire the remaining shares of Canadian vinyl and hardwood flooring producer Domco Tarkett (Farnham, Quebec) for CAD 7.50 per share. Tarkett Sommer, which currently owns 74.47% of the Canadian company, said there is currently "no more interest from investors and analysts for the flooring sector in North America."
