Bayer MaterialScience hikes TPU prices
Bayer MaterialScience (www.bayermaterialscience.com), Leverkusen / Germany, is increasing prices for all of its "Desmopan" thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) by EUR 0.30/kg, effective 1 August 2004. The move is "unavoidable" to compensate for higher production costs, Bayer said.
