Azelis acquires Benelux distributor
The pan-European chemicals distributor Azelis (www.azelis.com), Trezzano / Italy, has acquired Brussels-based distributor Sepulchre (www.sepulchre.be). The Belgian group claims to be one of the five largest plastics and specialities distributors in the Benelux countries, with sales of EUR 41m EUR. During 2004, Azelis has made a number of acquisitions, including Impex Quimica, Barcelona / Spain, and Pan Polymers based in Hertfordshire / UK. Azelis CEO Hans Udo Wenzel is targeting overall sales of EUR 690m this year.
