Expansion of injection moulding plant in China / Medical devices production
Phillips-Medisize (Hudson, Wisconsin / USA; www.phillipsmedisize.com) has expanded its production site in Suzhou, Jiangsu / China, with a new 13,000 m² building. Cleanroom moulding and assembly have also been set up, and both drug delivery and medical devices will be manufactured at the facility.
The US company has been a part of the Molex group since autumn 2016 – see Plasteurope.com of 14.11.2016. Phillips-Medisize manufactures components for medical technology and drug delivery systems in Suzhou. The company acquired the Suzhou site from Adval Tech (Niederwangen / Switzerland; www.advaltech.com) five years ago – see Plasteurope.com of 05.09.2013.
