Plastic pipe manufacturer Uponor (Vantaa / Finland; www.uponor.com) has made extensive changes within group management, effective 1 September 2006. Heiko Folgmann took over responsibility for marketing in western, southern and eastern Europe (in the group´s designation, Uponor-WES) as part of the reorganisation of operations in that region, as well as for international sales. Folgmann´s previous position as vice president for sales and marketing in central Europe is now being shared by Georg Goldbach and Volker Zembold.
At the same time, Anders Tollsten, formerly executive vice president of Uponor Nordic, has transferred to North America, replacing Jim Bjork, who has left the group. He will be succeeded at Nordic by Georg von Graevenitz, prior to this executive vice president for marketing and development. Jukka Kallioinen, previously vice president at WES, will take on new management responsibilities within the group. Fernando Roses, who had responsibility for Spain and Portugal, will take charge of the housing solutions business in that region.
