Jurgen van Krevel appointed CEO of Dutch packaging group
Packaging producer Pacombi Group (Oud-Beijerland / The Netherlands; www.pacombigroup.com) will have a new CEO from 1 March 2016 onwards. Jurgen van Krevel – previously the chief executive at confectionary producer Concorp (Oisterwijk / The Netherlands; www.concorp.nl) – will take over the position from Martin van Es, who will remain with the company in an advisory capacity.
Family-owned Pacombi is made up of a number of sub-companies. They are catering one-way product manufacturers Paardekooper (Oud-Beijerland / The Netherlands; www.paardekooper.nl), Depa Disposables (Beuningen / The Netherlands; www.depa.eu) and Halma Packaging (Beuningen; www.halmapackaging.nl), as well as agricultural films producer Van der Windt (Honselersdijk / The Netherlands; www.vanderwindt.com) and R&D hub The LCA Centre (Beuningen; www.thelcacentre.com). Total group sales stand at about EUR 265m. Owned by Jan Pardekooper, Pacombi has offices in six countries and a total workforce exceeding 400 employees. Its products are sold in more than 70 countries.
