Gazechim acquires European distribution business
Glass fibre manufacturer Owens Corning (Toledo, Ohio / USA; www.owenscorning.com) is to sell its European composites distribution business to Gazechim Composites (Béziers / France; www.gazechim.com), a raw materials distribution company and current European distributor for Owens Corning. Gazechim will become Owens Corning’s exclusive distributor in Czech Republic, France, Germany, Romania, Spain, Scandinavia and the UK. Gazechim said that the acquisition will contribute to extending its European distribution model based on its network of regional distribution companies and partnerships with manufacturers.
