Effective since the start of 2020, chemicals group Omya Algol (Moscow / Russia; www.omyaalgol.ru) is the sole distributor for Sukano’s (Schindellegi / Switzerland; www.sukano.com) masterbatches in Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. The agreement covers Sukano’s masterbatches for PET, PLA and other speciality resins.

Omya Algol is a Russian joint venture that was established in 2014 between speciality chemicals group Omya (Oftringen / Switzerland; www.omya.com) and Algol Chemicals (Espoo / Finland; www.algol.fi). In addition to Moscow, the JV has Russian sites in Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.
