US epoxy resins specialist Olin (Clayton, Missouri; www.olin.com) has tapped Germany’s Nordmann, Rassmann (NRC, Hamburg; www.nordmann-rassmann.com) to distribute its “D.E.R” and “D.E.N.” epoxy resins and its “D.E.H.” curing agents for the coatings, underground engineering, adhesives and composites industries throughout German-speaking Europe.

The agreement that took effect on 1 April 2017 in part revives a collaboration of 40 years between the two companies. Olin said NRC’s “large and strong regional sales team” has the experience and the agility to complement its growth in the epoxy industry. The US group lays claim to being the leading global supplier of epoxy materials with 60 years of experience in supplying products used in a “diverse array” of applications.

Parallel to this agreement for German-speaking Europe, Olin also signed a distribution pact for Spain with local distributor Quimidroga (Barcelona; www.quimidroga.com).
