North Star Imaging (NSI Rogers, Minnesota / USA; www.4nsi.com), a producer of systems for the nondestructive testing of materials and parts by means of X-Ray technology and computer tomography, has set up a European subsidiary near the French capital Paris. North Star Imaging Europe (Tremblay-en-France) offers the entire NSI portfolio, from small CT and X-Ray table systems to 600 kV industrial units. However, the subsidiary’s key focus will be 3D CT systems as well as digital, high-resolution, real-time X-Ray testing systems. The product range also includes the development of customer-specific systems, support and testing as well as advisory and training services.

NSI has been part of the Test and Measurement group of Illinois Tool Works (ITW, Glenview, Illinois / USA; www.itw.com), whose 850 decentralised business divisions employ about 60,000 workers across 52 countries.
