On 30 September, the 50-year career of Edgar Nordmann, a member of Georg Nordmann Holding – which comprises distributor Nordmann, Rassmann (NRC, Hamburg / Germany; www.nrc.de), logistics service provider Enorica (Norderstedt / Germany; www.enorica.de), and compounder Rowa Group (Pinneberg; www.rowa-group.com) – came to an end. The long-time manager resigned from the company’s board and handed over all management responsibilities, and will in future serve in an advisory capacity.

Part of the founding family, Edgar Nordmann first joined Nordmann, Rassmann in 1963, and under joint leadership with his brother Carsten Nordmann turned the former importer of rubber and cocoa into a global distributor, which today operates worldwide, and has 15 European subsidiaries. He was also instrumental in setting up Rowa Group, which today operates production facilities in Germany, the US and Asia.
