In October 2026, the KI.PIE Group plans to roll out pricenxt, a browser-based analytics workspace that turns Plasteurope.com’s European plastics price data into interactive dashboards, forecasts, and scenario tools for procurement, pricing, and management teams, among others. The beta testing phase for our specialised analytics tool is open.

pricenxt is positioned as more than a price feed: it is a configurable analytics environment where users can assemble their own ‘price cards’ for raw materials, compounds, and recyclates, build their own indices, then visualise and interrogate that data with line, area, and index charts, delta/spread views, as well as built‑in forecasting and regression functions.

The goal is to help plastics processors, compounders, distributors, and recyclers – as well as packaging, automotive, construction, E&E, and consumer‑goods companies – turn price information into structured benchmarks and data‑driven arguments for supplier and customer negotiations. In short, pricenxt helps you decode markets and decide with clarity.

At launch, pricenxt focuses on Western and Central European polymer and feedstock markets, with monthly contract and weekly spot prices, alongside key recyclate and index series. Selected Chinese market prices are also available on a weekly basis, and the offer is complemented by regional plastics prices for Central Europe, giving users an additional lens on local price developments and cross‑regional comparisons.

A standout feature is the provision of an actual forecast price that is to be published for the next six months, for 18 feedstocks and key polymer types. PIE Polymer Price Forecast add-on subscribers are already familiar with the forecast range for the first forecast month, and the forecast indicator for up to six months: pricenxt plans to take this a step further and provide specific price projections for each month of the six-month period. This is designed to let procurement and costing teams factor expected price moves into contracts, budgets, and production planning earlier and with greater precision than before.

Users access interactive charts, saved analyses, and configurable watchlists via a personal workspace, without needing to build their own data infrastructure. The platform is browser‑based and available in English and German, aligning with PIE’s core audience across Europe.
