On 1 July 2017, Hoffmann Neopac's (Thun / Switzerland; www.hoffmannneopac.ch) Hungarian subsidiary Tu-Plast Tubeproducing (Debrecen; www.tuplast.hu) was renamed Neopac Hungary. Although the modification was in name only, CEO of the Switzerland-based company Mark Aegler summarised the step as a measure "towards a uniform appearance" for the company, being the natural consequence of successful integration of the organisation and its processes in the past.

In addition, changes in the Hungarian company's leadership team had been announced: managing director Elémer Nagy will retire at the end of the year, with Gabor Csaba Oláh following him as the new managing director and head of production in September. Arnold Szegö will be his deputy.
