Leading US speciality chemicals manufacturer Momentive Performance Materials (Columbus, Ohio; www.momentive.com) has expanded its existing distribution agreement with e-distributor ChemPoint.com (Bellevue, Washington / USA; www.chempoint.com). So far the latter had been distributing Momentive organofunctional silanes, urethane additives and silicone resins, a selection that was complemented on 18 August 2011 by general purpose and custom elastomer products. The agreement covers the North American market.

Commenting on the expanded distribution portfolio, Thuan Nguyen, commercial leader at Momentive, said: “This agreement is a natural extension of a successful relationship that brings together ChemPoint’s extensive experience in specialty products and diverse markets with Momentive Performance Materials’ superior offering of general purpose and custom silicone products.”
