Distribution company MLPolymer (Hamburg / Germany; www.mlpolymer.de) has appointed Hauke ​​Ziburt as an additional managing director alongside Wolfgang Binder. With this step, a medium-term succession plan has been initiated, Binder told Plasteurope.com. At the beginning of the new 2018/19 fiscal year (ending 1.10.2019), the MLPolymer's sole Hamburg-based shareholder MLHolding also raised its share capital by EUR 1.75m to a nominal EUR 2m in view of the good business development.

MLPolymer has been selling Sabic's (Riyadh / Saudi Arabia; www.sabic.com) standard PE and PP grades since 2013. The company also holds the distribution rights for Sabic's PE and PP healthcare products in Germany. In addition to MLPolymer, the holding company also includes compounder MLPlastics (Hamburg; www.mlplastics.de) and distribution and trading company frupack plastic (Hamburg; www.frupack.de). For the current fiscal year, the group expects to generate sales of around EUR 100m.
