Investment in Bandera PET rigid film extrusion line in the UK
The thermoformed blister packaging manufacturer Mister Blister (Manchester / UK; www.mr-blister.com) has invested in a multi-layer PET rigid film extrusion line from Luigi Bandera (Busto Arsizio / Italy; www.luigibandera.com). The extrusion line is supplied by UK Extrusion, the exclusive distributor of Bandera products in the UK.
Mister Blister managing director, Gary Briscoe, says the company will be working on an average output of about 660 kg/hr and expect to have a throughput of 2,000 t of material per year. The majority of these sheets will be for Mister Blister's own production, but they will be selling small orders of several popular widths and microns from stock.
